Elizabeth Cramton is a writer who loves a good story. Raised in New Port Richey, Elizabeth fell in love with history while visiting cemeteries with her grandfather. As an adult, she has made her home all over the country but keeps a special place in her heart for her hometown. In between travels, she completed her B.A. in History at the University of South Florida while working in Hospitality. During her studies, Foodways expert Gary M. Mormino inspired her to dive into the study of why we eat what we do, blending her love for history with her culinary background. In addition to writing for Downtown New Port Richey, she fuels her passion for history by volunteering at the Grand Encampment History Museum in Wyoming and writing for her blog, Taste of Herstory.
