For Stacy Kemp, “partner” isn’t just a title she holds in her law firm Kemp, Ruge & Green Law Group; it is her position in the community as well. Having grown up in Pasco County, she attended Cypress Elementary, River Ridge Middle and High School, and went on to attend St. Leo University and Stetson Law. With her roots deep in the area, she has maintained a commitment to local charities and organizations and has partnered with many of them to help Pasco County thrive. Being a community partner goes beyond supporting local charities; Stacy has created her own organization, Kemp’s Causes. Kemp’s Causes selects local non-profits and donates directly to them, funding a wide range of needs nominated by local individuals to get help where needed the most. In addition to her philanthropic work, Stacy is an award-winning attorney who manages a law firm with over 40 employees. Starting off as a court reporter, Stacy learned what it would take to practice law.
“Sitting in the courtroom day in and day out gave me the real-life experiences and knowledge that inspired me to be an attorney. On the job training is the most beneficial and I received a ton of it.”
In spite of the fact that she manages a law firm and is invested in various community outreaches, Stacy is most proud of her other job-being a mom. When asked about her greatest accomplishments, the philanthropist and one of the “Top Lawyers in Florida” says, “being a mother first, a wife and a business owner that employs over 40 people in our community. I love giving back and creating jobs for other people.” To find out more about the services offered by Kemp, Ruge & Green, visit their website. For information on Kemp’s Causes, follow the link here.
